Mechanical Coverage by Tint
Extra coverage, including roadside assistance, for unexpected mechanical breakdowns–coming soon for Turo hosts
Get Coverage TodayMechanical Coverage is designed to help protect Turo hosts from the cost of unexpected mechanical failures.
It goes beyond standard insurance by focusing on major vehicle systems — helping cover repairs when something breaks down, not just when there’s an accident.
This coverage is intended to complement your existing Tint off-trip insurance and is built specifically for hosts who depend on their vehicles to earn income.
As a host, your car isn’t just transportation — it’s a business.
Even well-maintained vehicles can experience mechanical issues, and a single breakdown can mean:
-
Expensive repair bills
- Lost booking and downtime

Mechanical Coverage is designed to help hosts manage this risk and keep their vehicles on the road with more confidence.
